Free Painting Weeks 2012 at Atelier Millefeuilles:

The two painting weeks we organized this year at Atelier Millefeuilles were absolutely wonderful! Everybody enjoyed them to the full... And it will be a pleasure to continue this initiative in 2012.

Painting together creates beautiful memories; it relaxes, stimulates creativity and is a truly enriching experience.  

Not every guest is required to join in the painting activities. The Touraine du Sud offers plenty of possibilities in the domain of history (Prehistoric Museum in Le Grand Présigny), art or culture. Enjoy the enchanting beauty of its nature by the Creuse, Claise, or (a bit further) Loire rivers, make a walk or a bike tour around Boussay or in the Brenne Natural Park (Land of a Thousand Ponds), go for a horse walk starting from the Boussay castle (for the advanced only), discover the local golf courses, stroll around the numerous little markets or... simply admire the silence… disappear into a good book… Do check out our site for these and more possibilities!

Depending on the demand, we are organizing free painting weeks from April to September 2012:

Week 1: april 2012:  Zo-Av 15 april  tot  Za-O  21 april  2012         

Week 2: juni 2012:  Zo-Av   3 juni  tot  Za-O   9 juni  2012

Week 3: aug. 2012:  Zo-Av  5 aug.  tot  Za-O  11 aug.  2012        

Week 4: sept. 2012: Zo-Av 2 sept. tot Za-O   8 sept. 2012          

Vanaf min. 4 personen kunnen afspraken gemaakt worden om data te wijzigen of een week te verlengen. Een extra dagje vol pension/pers. /dag kost 80€.

We are going to paint freely, and, as much as possible, in open air. Your hostess, Rit, will join you in painting. The atelier, small but cozy, is at your disposal. The aperitif offers a great occasion to discuss the works of the day, if you care to. Painters, please provide in your own materials. We can simplify transportation, provide trestles etc…

During the winter we will accommodate a fourth guest room, equipped with bathroom and toilet. It will be called the “Atelier Room”, since it is located right next to the painting atelier. Once accomplished this room will have a capacity of 2-3 people *.

The cost for your stay is calculated for full pension, including land wine at the table (one course at lunch, three course dinner).

450€/pers. based on 2 people in the Village Hall Room, Lime-Tree Room

480€/pers. based on 2 people in the Chateau Room, Artist-Room

399€/pers. based on 3 people in the Chateau Room, Artist-Room

We can paint in open air within the boundaries of our picturesque village of Boussay, in the castle gardens, in the immediate surroundings or at a greater distance... The colorful and sloping environments are guaranteed to inspire you...

Bed sheeting and bath linen are provided in all our rooms.

Any painting week requires a minimum of 6 to 8 participants.

If more than 8 to 10 people subscribe we can offer sympathetic and hospitable alternatives in bed and breakfasts or cottages in Boussay.  The price per person per week, based on 2 persons per room, with full board, will be identical to the price for the Village Hall Room.
